We held our first annual conference in association with FT Live on 8 March 2016, the same day as we published our first annual review.
The day brought together an eminent and wide-ranging array of bank and building society Chairmen, CEOs and other stakeholders, from both the UK and around the world, as well as UK and international financial media and associated organisations such as Citizens Advice.
Our Director of Policy and Analysis Mikael Down said of the day:
‘It was fantastic to see so much interest in and commitment to raising standards. All participants from within and outside of banking – from within the UK and internationally – were there with the shared interest of building a trustworthy sector that acts in the interests of its customers, clients and broader society.’
For those who missed our first conference, look out for information on next year’s event. In the meantime, we have put together a selection of content highlighting the most valuable aspects of the day:
- View the short highlights film above
- Read Citizens Advice Chief Executive and our Board member Gillian Guy’s blog post for the consumer perspective on the impact of banks’ behaviour – and misbehaviour – on all of us.
More content will be published here so do check back…
